Maria Walden Sullivan

Maria Walden Sullivan is a senior consultant to ALG.  Her high energy as a speaker and trainer helps to motivate and create enthusiasm in others.  She also is an excellent coach for both individual and team development to maximize performance. Maria’s areas of focus are leadership, business development, sales, marketing, communications skills and leadership curriculum design.  She was also a member of the founding team for the development of FranklinCovey’s 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX). With more than 20 years’ management experience working with Fortune 500 companies to Not for Profit organizations.

Maria started her career working in sales for management consulting firms and lean manufacturing methodologies.   Her overall contribution in sales provided the opportunity to train others for success.  Following this, she became the Vice President of Marketing for Provant (PMSI) the Project Management division where she worked closely with the Vice President of Sales to build a brand and maximize performance. PMSI then closed and she was hired by FranklinCovey to assist with new business development for Southeastern United States. During this time, she became part of the team for development and rollout of the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX).  Following this role, she was promoted to lead both the Education Division for FranklinCovey and the Home and Family Division created by John Covey.  Both roles implemented corporate principles and programs to education institutions and not for profit organizations throughout the country. Since leaving FranklinCovey, Maria has worked independently, assisting many organizations in growth and development.

 

Maria is very active in community service work.  She is dedicated to making the world better than before her arrival.  Her dedication to helping young women (previously trafficked) as a respite mother to applying her professional skillsets as a volunteer consultant for training design at Chris 180, is what inspires Maria. She is also a new member of the Executive Leadership Team for The American Heart Association, GO RED. She has one grown, married son and one particularly special, granddaughter.
