Jimmy Jordan
Before managing and facilitating client workshops, Jimmy spent over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Launching his career with The Upjohn Company as an award-winning sales representative and district sales manager, he advanced to manager of training & development and to national director medical sciences liaison, cardiovascular diseases, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In this role he led strategic planning for global implementation of the medical sciences discipline with a focus on cardiovascular diseases.
In 1985, Jimmy became regional sales director for the southeast region. After Pharmacia Corporation acquired Upjohn, he was named national director, U.S. managed markets. In this role, Jimmy forged relationships with leading Fortune 100 employers such as Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, and Verizon to drive product penetration in health care benefits plans across managed care markets. He continued in this role after Pfizer acquired Pharmacia in 2002.
Jimmy has a proven record of success in developing and directing strategic planning and business development initiatives in highly competitive managed care markets. As national director of U.S. managed markets he instituted the first regional health care and business coalition program adopted as the model for nationwide implementation. A transformational leader, Jimmy has coached teams and individuals to achieve high levels of success. His success is borne out by the numerous internal and industry awards he has received for customer service and sales results throughout his career.

Jimmy holds a bachelor of science degree in biology. He completed Upjohn’s Leadership Development program and was selected to attend the Center for Creative Leadership. He has remained committed to enriching his knowledge base via a wide range of development seminars and programs throughout his career. He is a member of 15 industry organizations, including the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Trainers (SPBT).
